A regular to the South Florida area Dave Matthews Band has graced our area with another weekend of summer fun. Surrounded my free spirited attendees, great tunes and the moist summer air. These quintessential times remind be why it's been so hard for me to take the leap out of this great location. South Florida doesn't get any better.

Uno de 50

On a trip to South Beach this weekend I discovered an amazing line of jewelry from Spain, Uno de 50. The pieces are beautiful and hand designed. Below are some of my favorites, this is a must see!

Puppy Love

Dogs may be a mans best friend but, they are a girls best side-kick. Especially this weekend down in South Beach, gotta love my pooch - Hershey! He's half chihuahua half poodle and turns heads wherever he goes. He's the perfect summer compliment to any outfit!

Always Buzzing Like Neon

Since I was a little girl the TODAY show has been part of my morning routine and my favorite part was their summer concert series. Waking up this morning to the oh-so-yummy John Mayer was a special treat! I've been hypnotized by his looks and entranced by his lyrics since middle school. Too bad I have to wait til September to see his lovely face performing down here in South Florida. Until then...I'll just rely on my iTunes and Pandora radio...swoon!

Beating the Heat

Florida summers are ruthless! My new favorite summer style are flowy shirts and cropped tops- the light materials and un-clingy fit help me beat the heat this summer. Plus the bright colors and floral patterns are perfect!

Keep On Running...

Summer always makes me want to workout but it always makes me so lazy. However, this summer my urge to workout has conquered my laziness and has set me on a quest for new running shoes. With so many options it's hard to know what to get. Of course appearance means a lot to me but most important is comfort. This week will be the week to go on my shoe scavenger hunt for the perfect running shoes to complete my summer workouts - which will hopefully last much longer than summer.

Summer Sun...Somethings Begun

After three months of job hunting, interning and enjoying the Florida sun I decided that a blog is the perfect ingredient to add to by summer recipe.

To start off I decided to take my weekend down to Miami for a change of pace. There's nothing like a new place and new people to get your creative juices flowing. So here's to a weekend in a [somewhat] new place. Because, without spice in life everything would just be bland!
